My real surprise was when construction started because He was involved with the smallest of details while watching the projects every phase progress into the next. His particular interest in my homes design was found to be delightful. my design was one developed over 40 years of building 26 different homes in my life. to tell the honest truth his hustle and tenacity was a very pleasant surprise. I have built hotels and homes in Nicaragua, Belize, San Jose, Costa Rica and Yoro, Yoro Honduras over the last 20 years and understand clearly how easily a wrong move can cost you.
Ceasar’s honesty and integrity really was shown through when we were introduced to bankers and attorneys about the project. the bankers and attorneys reaction with him during all stages of the project it was very obvious the high regard and deepest respect they had for Ceasar. he is a self motivator and a problem solver which garners a significant amount of the entrepreneurial spirt embedded in his business acumen. give him a problem and in very short order you will notice his problem solver mindset abilities are astonishing. He knows everyone.
Ceasar has been at this business since 2000 and before father held a strategic position in the nations customs department and later went into business for himself. Cesar Castillo was recommended by local people at Villa Helen’s when my wife and I visited mainland Honduras in August of 2006. He was friendly, straight forward, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. We worked with him over the next few months putting together the purchase of a beach front property in Balfate. As we were in Honduras for only one week most of our subsequent communication was via e-mail. It too was a smooth and responsive process.
We worked with a lawyer recommended by him and when the legal process slowed he stayed on top of the situation until it was resolved, keeping me informed in a timely fashion. When I revisited with my son in March of 2007 he again made himself available to assist us. Though my experience with him is limited I believe that he is a sincere and ethical individual and would certainly work with him again if circumstances permit.
My husband and I jumped into our project without knowing anything about building in Honduras. Several people, including some local Hondurans and Americans recommended that we work with Cesar to get a quality job that would be priced competitively.
We arranged for a meeting with Cesar, who immediately gave us confidence in his abilities and ethics. Together we settled on a design, a price and a completion date, all with relative ease. We were able to “watch” the progress of our little cottage being built by receiving email images of our place. Any issues along the way were resolved through direct communication with Cesar, who was available through phone and email on a consistent basis.
We did not see our cottage in its completion until July of this year. We walked into our place for the first time and our hearts were filled with delight! Cesar built a very strong and solid structure, that was obviously built to last a long while. We were so pleased with all of the charming touches he had added in his construction. Cesar had created our dream of having a beautiful little cottage on the beach. Cesar obviously takes great pride in his work and wants to be sure he pleases his customers. We have enjoyed working with him tremendously.
